Point Neppean - Sorrento

This beautiful compact design began with the brief to create a minimalist design that gave seclusion to the rear of the property.

The designer shows a clear understanding of the power of using shadow and light to create a warm yet spacious home with the entire house making use of black metal cladding throughout. The insertions into the black metal frame create connections to the outdoors and ensure warm sunlight exists throughout the property.

A nice small touch was making the glass windows black-rimmed, creating a further connection between the natural light created by the windows with the ‘shadow’ black metal cladding. This is only further accentuated by the timber boards and doors injecting the warmth into the black metal cladding on the exterior roof

The outside is invited in and vice-versa while retaining the privacy the client wanted.
